Jamie Donovan has more than 15 years of experience in economic and strategy consulting and market analysis, helping clients with complex, high-stakes business, legal, and regulatory issues. As an economic consultant, Mr. Donovan provides crucial assistance to law firms and corporate clients in complex litigation, international arbitrations, and regulatory proceedings, including expert witness support, deposition and trial preparation, settlement negotiation, and case strategy.

Mr. Donovan specializes in energy, infrastructure, and climate issues, and has worked extensively on antitrust, competition, intellectual property, and damages disputes in a wide range of industries. Mr. Donovan’s energy background includes natural gas, oil, electricity, renewables, and climate policy, and his industry experience includes infrastructure, automotive, chemicals, credit cards, consumer products, banking/finance, healthcare, IT, telecom, and pharmaceuticals/life sciences.

Prior to joining MEG, Mr. Donovan focused on energy, infrastructure, and climate issues as Founder and Principal of Plum Island Analytics; on IT industry market analysis and forecasting as a Principal Consultant at IPR; on antitrust and IP disputes as Senior Economist at QES, on utility regulation issues as Senior Regulatory Analyst at NSTAR, and on disputes and regulatory issues in the energy sector as a Senior Economist in the energy litigation practice at Compass Lexecon. Mr. Donovan received an MBA from Northeastern University’s D’Amore McKim School of Business, and a B.A. from Middlebury College.
