Monument Economics Group LLC has made a $1,000 donation in support of the wildfire relief efforts in Gatlinburg, TN. After learning of the devastating destruction the wildfires left in their wake, Monument seeks to support the American Red Cross of East Tennessee to provide funding and help this vibrant economy get back on its feet.

Dr. Russell Lamb Presents at the NYSBA Annual Antitrust Symposium

Monument Economics Group President and co-founder Dr. Russell Lamb was invited to speak at the New York State Bar Association’s Annual Antitrust Symposium held on December 9, 2016 at the Harvard Club in New York City.  Dr. Lamb presented his views on the hypothetical merger between Staples and Office Depot, highlighting the implications for competition in the Business to Business (“B-to-B”) market for office supplies.

Monument Economics Group was a proud sponsor of the American Antitrust Institute’s 10th Annual Private Antitrust Enforcement Conference held on November 9, 2016 at the National Press Club in Washington D.C.  The conference included panel discussions on the implications of the presidential election on private antitrust enforcement, recent decisions related to product bundling and loyalty discounts, the application of U.S. antitrust law across borders, economic evidence used in class action litigation, and ethical issues related to intra-class conflicts.
